Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon – a new 16bit-inspired chapter in the Oceanhorn saga!
We bet you didn't see this one coming! Cornfox & Bros. is proud to announce that Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, a new chapter in the Oceanhorn Expanded Universe, will be available on Apple Arcade soon.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is our Dungeon Crawler take on all things Oceanhorn. This time, you and up to three friends can join forces on a single couch to explore the many floors of the dangerous dungeon that gives the game its subtitle.
With a rogue-lite approach, 16-bit feeling, and a modernized arcade-style, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon can be played over quick sessions inspired by those of our favorite fantasy tabletop games. While the title is developed to be the best family-friendly Dungeon Crawler out there, you can expect tons of depth leading up to the showdown with Chronos.
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is set after the end of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm and takes place 200 years after the Catastrophe.
The Realm of Arcadia is now splintered into the many islands of the Uncharted Seas. Arcadian settlements are scattered around, with many floating between the clouds. Arcadian knowledge is still highly regarded, even though many creations now lay in ruin. Wandering groups of Direfolk, Goblins, and Ogres from the Outlands roam the lands. Under the surface of the sea, the corrupted Living Fortresses dwell.
But there's always hope. A band of adventurers has set on a journey to restore the world to its former glory. On a distant island, they find their way into a mythical underground complex called the Chronos Dungeon. Deep down, hidden somewhere, lies the Paradigm Hourglass, an object powerful enough to alter the course of history.
Will our brave warriors find the route to the bottom floor and get their hands on this precious artifact? What challenges await them inside?
