Tarock Weekly - Issue #3

Hello collectors,

It's been a fantastic couple of weeks for our fictional magazine. Tarock Weekly can now sport over 60,000 subscribers, and that's because people can't stop playing Arcadian Tarock!

If you're new to the game, don't worry. We have some valuable tips for pulling off master moves on your opponents as in every issue.

Have you ever pulled a 5 points move? No? It's not the most straightforward feat, but it's definitely possible under certain circumstances.

First of all, there's also an achievement for that: a single move that flips four cards at once (the one you'll be placing also counts) definitely deserves a reward.

Now, a 5 points move requires some intelligent choices and a bit of luck, but here is the theory:

  • Challenge a regular player – this technique is harder to pull off against pros.

  • As your initial hand, pick four cards with a weak Defence value and one with a high attack value and many Special Directions, such as the Sacred Emblems card.

  • Make sure you're starting the game.

  • Place the weak cards at the four corners of the game board on each turn.

  • As the final move, place your stronger card in the dead center.

If everything went right, it's 5 points, baby! But, you'll see, it's easier said than done.

Advanced techniques aside, we want to leave you with two more leads for rare Arcadian Tarock cards:

  1. Visit the Palace Gardens in the White City and sift through the benches. You might find something (or someone) there.

  2. Since you're already in the White City, visit the Prison. If you have already completed the Criminal Hunt quests, you'll notice that a couple of inmates are really, really bored.

That's a wrap for the third issue of Tarock Weekly, GG everyone!
